If you havent heard, Ferrets Magazine will be ending with the March/April issue. After that if you want anything ferrets related you will have to go to FerretsMagazine.com..

Alot of people are very angry with this (as am I) because theyre not offering money back for people who have resubscribed to a new year and are asking that everyone just pick a new magazine (such as Farm Hobbiest, or Young Riders Bi-Monthly) to finish off their subscriptions. Another thing is the fact that the magazine will be digital now and what of the people who go to the store and buy the magazine because they dont have a computer or the internet to read things online? Apparently Ferrets Magazine doesnt have any answer except that "it'll be cheaper for them to do it online"..

Voices are being raised at quite a few ferret forums. Most people at the FerretsMagazine.com forum are quite angry, and of course people over at The Lazy Hammock are saying what they think. The Lazy Hammock is home to Father Nature, who runs a shelter in New Jersey, who was selling magazine subscriptions as a fundraiser for the shelter's sicker and older ferrets. He sold almost 50 subscriptions to Ferrets Magazine and now he doesnt know if he'll even get that fund raiser money because theyre stopping the magazine.

Everyone is hoping that maybe, just maybe, they'll see that putting it on the net is a bad idea... Im going to miss seeing the bi-monthly centerfolds by Jean Carley and seeing the Picture Perfect contests... We can all just hope that they realize their mistake...

Ferrety Birthdays
A little calender to let people know when your little fuzzy is celebrating his or her birthday! If you want to add your ferrets name to the calender just note the club with the subject "ferrety bdays" and send the dates a names of the ferrets you wish added. When a ferrets bday is comming up, or on that day a little will show up next to their name.

((if you dont have papers to tell when your ferrets bday is, you can use the day they came to live with you, unless you have a guess-ta-mit to when their big day is))
